The Bailout Secrets of the Federal Reserve
You may have heard the information going around recently about the secret federal reserve bailout loans to large banks. Worldwide, a total of around 190 banks gained bailout money from the Fed and combined lost about $21.6 billion. In addition to the trillions of dollars given to banks by the Fed, the banks were also able to make nearly $13 billion in income from the Fed's below market rates. The secret of bank bailouts by the Fed from 2007 to 2010 has been kept from congress, firms and the public until now.
